Ebony Andrews, Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire, UK.

Over the years I have worked in a variety of roles across a number of intersecting disciplines within art, culture, heritage and history. My creative portfolio reflects a sustained engagement with philosophical and museological ideas about nature and the natural environment. This site functions mostly as an archive of my work.

In 2005 I was awarded a degree in fine art from Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne. Focusing on the interpretation and display of natural science collections in public museums, I gained a master’s degree in art gallery and museum studies from the University of Leeds in 2009 before completing a Ph.D. in the same field in 2014.
